Dick, a Billings resident since 1970 was born in San Francisco, California. He lived at Crystal Springs Ranch on the main Boulder River, south of Big Timber. He attended Big Timber High School and Montana State University, Bozeman. After college, he lived in southern California and worked on the Apollo Space Program for 9 years. He moved to Montana and worked for the Montana Power Company and retired after 24 years. Dick has studied with well known artists such as Hazin Alkire, John Seerey-Lester, Terry Isaac, Jack Hines, Paco Young, Carl Brenders, Simon Combes. He also studied with Hall Diteman for many years.
Dick's paintings are in private collections around the U.S., Canada and South Africa. He is currently represented by The Two Rivers Gallery in Big Timber, Montana.
